About me
My name is Andrea Bianchi, I was born in Bologna, Italy, and I am a naturalist passionate about animals since I was a child.
I grew up with tortellini, documentaries, encyclopedias and I graduated in Natural Sciences in 2016.
In 2023 I obtained a certificate of Biodiversity Manager, after a course at EIIS (European Institute of Innovation for Sustainability) in partnership with WWF Italy.
I had already started a blog few years ago, but I gave up too early for various reasons.
Now I am in Australia, home to unique species and wonderful landscapes, my desire to write and share my knowledge about wildlife and nature is stronger than ever.
We will talk about:
-
animals, because everyone likes animals.
-
plants, because they are often underestimated but actually fascinating.
-
places, rich in biodiversity and important for conservation.
Along the way, we might meet some famous people who made or are still making the history of Natural Sciences.
Follow me and you will discover.
Now, you are probably asking yourself what the name of the blog means. It is like a tongue twister, but it is a joke about my translated surname “Whites” and the words “Wild World” to create the acronym WWW.
Thank you everyone will decide to read and follow me in this journey into the wild.
Welcome to the Wild Whites World!
